Comms Lines (GSM)

smsPULSE MM V4 employes communication lines documents to control the lines which are active on your server. Please note that the HTTPS channel does not require a Communication Line document and is "built-in" to smsPULSE.

Future releases of smsPULSE will include new types of Communication Lines.

Testing a line
Once the server connected to a line you may test it. To do so click on the Test tab and fill in the details, not forgetting to tick the "Send once..." checkbox.


You may also test a line, after the above form is filled by typing the following command on the Domino console:
"tell smslines test n" (where n is the line number).
Please note that if you added the number after smsLINES has loaded you will need to restart smsLINES for the number to be read. To restart smsLINES just type:
"tell smslines restart"

Licencing a line
If you bought a smsPULSE DM licence or a smsPULSE MM licence you will need to licence each line you have purchased. For instructions please click here .
